I bought two of these Coverlets; they are lovely. The stitching is in 2.5" squares in the main central section of the coverlet, done in a diamond orientation, which is beautifully complimented by the 2" square pattern of stitching around the border, which is oriented on the square. The fabric is soft, wonderful to the touch, and the color, rich (charcoal). The look on the beds is classic, inviting any finishing touches one might choose, from the whimsical to the simply elegant.
